Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the 2015 St. Anthony's Triathlon:

What is the race date?
Meek and Mighty Triathlon: Saturday, April 23, 2016

Sprint Triathlon: Sunday, April 24, 2016
St. Anthony's Triathlon: Sunday, April 24, 2016

What are the distances for each segment of the race?
Swim: 1.5 kilometers/0.9 miles
Bike: 40 kilometers/24.8 miles
Run: 10 kilometers/6.2 miles
Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750M, Bike 20K, Run 5K

How do I register?
A registration link to the website will be posted on the triathlon home page at Register early as we expect to reach maximum capacity. Registration closes one month prior to race weekend. No mail in registrations will be accepted.

What is the cost for entry?
Cost for entry depends primarily on when you sign up. See the 2016 Entry Fee Structure for more information.

I can't race, can I get a refund?
No refunds, no exceptions. For Deferrals, contact Susan Daniels at before April 15. You can now purchase a Registration Protector for $7 per registration.

  • If registering multiple people at once and Registration Protection is selected, it will be selected for the total number of people being registered. Thus, the total number registering at once multipled by $7.
  • Registration Protection is provided by a third-party provider, Allianz Insurance (a list of what is covered and more information is available at
  • If a claim needs to be filed, it is filed directly by the participant with Allianz. The event and ACTIVE are taken out of the loop. This is like any other insurance policy where a claim must be filed and then approved

Do I need a photo I.D. to pick up my packet?

I know someone who cannot race, can I use their number?
NO! You will be banned from participation at all USAT-sanctioned events.

Do I need a USAT license to participate?
Yes. All individuals and relay team members must furnish proof of current USAT membership or you will be required to purchase a one-day USAT license ($15) at athlete check-in.

Can I have someone else pick up my packet for me?
No. You must pick up your own packet or you will not be allowed to race. NO EXCEPTIONS. You must be at athlete check-in before close at 5pm on Saturday, April 23.

Can someone else check in my bike for me?
Yes. If you cannot check in your bike, you may have another competitor check in your bike once they have gotten their participant wrist band. Bike must be checked in by 6pm on Saturday, April 23. You must pick up your packet and bike must be numbered before you can have someone check in your bike for you.

Can I bring in my bike on the morning of the race?
No. No exceptions.

What time does transition open on race morning?
4:45-6:45am for all Olympic, Sprint and Relay athletes

What time will transition re-open to allow athletes to collect their bikes and belongings?
At 10:30am, we will gradually allow athletes back into transition in small numbers starting with the professionals and Open Age Group. We do reserve the right to keep transition closed until the last cyclist comes in at 12:30pm. Book your travel arrangements accordingly. We will not change this policy to accommodate flights, hotel check out, etc. ****If allowed into transition early, and you interfere with a competitor still racing, you will be DQ'd.

Can I change my race division?
Once registered, you cannot make changes in your race division to improve your wave start order. You may change from age group to Clydesdale/Athena or Novice only. No changes will be made after 4pm on Friday, April 15.

My registration information is wrong, what can I do?
You must e-mail by April 1, 2016 in order to have your registration information corrected. If after April 1, you must report to the solutions table at athlete check-in to make corrections.

Where do I pick up my timing chip?
Chip pick up will be part of the athlete check in process rather than race morning.

What can I do if I lost my chip or left it in the hotel room?
Option 1: If left in the hotel, go back and get it. Option 2: Spare chips will be located at the swim start.

Are recumbent bikes allowed?

What time do the awards start?
12:30pm for the professional and Open Age Group. General awards will start at approximately 1pm.

If I was unable to stay for awards, can I have it mailed to me?
Yes. You must send a check for $10 payable to St. Anthony's Triathlon to:
